Lisa Lougheed!

I'm so happy to have been reacquainted with Lisa Lougheed. When I was a little girl and infatuated with the Disney Channel, I would tune in daily to get my fix of The Raccoons. It was a cartoon about a family of personified raccoons. Yah, that simple. But AWESOME. And the thing that made the show most awesome was its theme song by Lisa Lougheed!



You know you want to dance to it. Especially when those back up vocals kick in. Synthesizers have my heart big time.

And she made other awesome songs for the show. This one here is a tear jerker.



My childhood really was the coolest.

Since watching this video I have made a vow never to eat pork again. Pigs are just too damn cute. My next vow is to stop eating lamb-- which isn't going to be too hard since I don't eat it as much pork.
