I've been making a lot of wonderful connections here in Krems because of the Donau Festival. This is a melting pot of brilliant artists and I am most humbled to be apart of this *kick ace* experience. We have about two more performances until we're able to pack up and leave. The crowds have been receiving the show well. Many of the artists that are participating in the festival have attended The Dorothy K. The Donau is a more tailored and directed beast than Bumbershoot. It knows it's niche and goes for it and I appreciate that.

The Park Hotel Krems
After our flight I was more than happy to be on solid ground with no screaming babies in sight. We had to first fly from Seattle to Ohare, then from Ohare to London and then from London to Vienna.
Krems is a beautiful town that's older than I can fathom. Great food, great shopping and very nice and accommodating people. The festival is happening right next to the hotel so I won't have to travel anywhere far or take special transportation to get there. Our meals are provided by the hotel and festival (except for dinner, which is fine) and I'm hoping that when we're all done here I can go for Vienna for a day and hang out with my friend.
Here are some pictures of the city and what I've been up to so far.

The Donau Festival
It's been a little over three months since Implied Violence started its preparation for The Dorothy K: Redux for the Donau Festival in Krems, Austria. We are all tired, but very ready. There's just one thing:
A STUPID VOLCANOE!
I do not want to get stuck in Europe ya'll.
What I'm hoping is that after all the hoopla of the festival I'd get to hang out with my friend Lauren who lives in Vienna. We'll see.
Extra thank yous to my family who sent money to me because they didn't want their loved one panhandling in a foreign country. If anyone wants a post card, please email me their addresses.
